Beautiful People: A Play in Three Acts
Moscow, 1930. A blizzard has emptied the streets, martial law has closed the city, and Ziba is trapped inside the Maly Theatre. She dreams of becoming an actress, yet there is one thing she cannot do: cry. When a stranger offers to teach her, rehearsal becomes a dangerous game of stories, suspicion and unexpected tenderness.
By turns darkly comic and unsettling, Beautiful People asks what it takes to trust another person, and what happens when the masks we live behind begin to fall.
